Kudermetova and Mertens won the second victory in a row at the final WTA tournament
MOSCOW, 4 Nov – Russia’s Veronika Kudermetova and Belgium’s Elise Mertens defeated Brazil’s Beatrice Haddad-Maia and Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina in a group stage doubles match at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) final tournament, which has a total prize pool of $5 million.

Kudermetova and Mertens won with a score of 6:4, 6:3. Tennis players spent 1 hour and 16 minutes on the court.
With two wins in two games, the Russian and Belgian lead the group Pam Shriver and will face Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Mexico’s Guilana Olmos next on November 5.
The final WTA tournament takes place from October 31 to November 7 in Fort Worth, USA.
