MOSCOW, 23 Jul – Petersburg Zenit player Daler Kuzyaev will miss four weeks due to a knee injury, according to the club’s Telegram channel.
Midfielder “blue-white-blue” was injured on Friday in the first half of the match of the second round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” (3:0).
“According to the results of a medical examination, the player was diagnosed with damage to the medial collateral ligament of the right knee. The estimated recovery time is four weeks,” the report says.
Kuzyaev has been playing for Zenit since 2017. As part of the team, the midfielder won the Russian championship four times, won the Russian Cup once and won the country’s Super Cup twice.
