Kvaratskhelia’s assist helped Napoli beat Sassuolo in Serie A
MOSCOW, 27 Aug – Napoli beat Sassuolo in the second round match of the Italian football championship.
The meeting in Naples ended with the score 2:0 in favor of the hosts. The goals were scored by Viktor Osimkhen (16th minute, from the penalty spot) and Giovanni Di Lorenzo (64), assisted by Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Ex-football player of Kazan “Rubin” and Moscow “Locomotive” missed the first round match due to injury.
Sassuolo midfielder Maxim Lopez was sent off in the 52nd minute of the match. Eight minutes later, Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori missed the penalty.
