MOSCOW, 27 Jul – Juventus footballer Paul Pogba has refused to undergo knee surgery, which he received during the team’s training camp in the United States, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pogba left the Juventus location and returned to Italy, where he will consult with doctors and undergo additional medical examinations. The midfielder asked the Italian club for time to make a decision about the operation.
Earlier, Juventus said that the player suffered damage to the lateral meniscus, due to which he will not take part in further training activities of the team’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Pogba returned to Juventus from Manchester United in July. The contract with the 29-year-old midfielder runs until June 30, 2026. As part of the Italian club, the Frenchman became the champion of Italy four times, won the Italian Super Cup three times and the country’s Cup twice.
