MOSCOW, 22 Jul – Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has been ruled out of Sunday’s friendly against Feyenoord after suffering from wasp stings, L’Equipe reports.
According to the source, the former Arsenal player was the victim of an insect attack while walking in the woods in the Netherlands, where the French club is in pre-season training camp.
Another Lyon player, Moussa Dembele, was also reported to have been bitten by wasps. However, this did not prevent him from taking part in the general training of the team.
Lacazette is 31 years old, he is a graduate of Lyon, he made his debut in the first team in 2010, spent 275 matches and scored 129 goals. In 2012, he won the French Cup and Super Cup. At the end of the 2014/15 season, he became the top scorer of the French championship and was recognized as the best player in the championship.
