Ex-goalkeeper Malafeev called Dzyuba’s statements about Zakharyan’s transfer to Zenit inadequate
MOSCOW, 1 Mar — Former goalkeeper of “Zenith” Vyacheslav Malafeev called the statements of the striker “Locomotive” Artem Dziuba inadequate.
Earlier, Dzyuba said that Dynamo midfielder Arsen Zakharyan could become a player in the St. Petersburg club. However, Malafeev, who at the time of the negotiations was the deputy sports director, refused to negotiate, since Zakharyan collaborated with the wrong agent.
According to the ex-goalkeeper, some of Dzyuba’s statements are inadequate.
Malafeev announced the end of his playing career in 2016, since the winter of 2015 he, along with Dziuba, played for Zenit.
