Malkin overtook Fedorov to become Russia’s top scorer in the NHL playoffs

MOSCOW, May 10 – The Russian striker of the club of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Pittsburgh Penguins” Evgeni Malkin set a record among Russians for the number of points scored in the NHL playoffs in a career.
In the fourth game of the first-round playoff series against the New York Rangers, Malkin scored a goal and brought the number of career points to 177 (66 goals + 111 assists).
Thus, the Pittsburgh forward surpassed the achievement of Sergei Fedorov (176 points) and became the top Russian scorer in the NHL playoffs.
