The manufacturer of hygiene products gave Marcelo a year’s supply of air freshener
MOSCOW, May 12 – Personal care products maker Dude Wipes gave ex-Lyon football player Marcelo a year’s supply of air freshener and toilet paper, according to the American brand’s social networks.
In January, French Lyon terminated the contract with the Brazilian defender. The reason given was “unprofessional player”. According to L’Équipe newspaper in May, the reason for the termination was an attack of flatulence and laughter in the locker room after a match in August in which he scored a goal against his team.
In the post, Dude Wipes notes that the gift will “help the Brazilian”.
Marcelo himself had previously denied L’Équipe’s information about the reasons for terminating the contract with Lyon.
