Marcus Stoinis played a match of the BBL on Sunday, January 12 with a 147-ball 79. This is his highest personal score in the league. His offensive innings helped the Melbourne Stars win by 44 runs against the Sydney Sixers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Stoinis and Hilton Cartwright (59) helped the Melbourne Stars to 219 for one wicket in 20 overs. In response, the Sydney Sixers team could score 175 runs for seven wickets.
