Toronto NHL hockey player Matthews wins Ted Lindsay Award
MOSCOW, June 22 – Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews has won the Ted Lindsay Award.
The award is given to the best NHL player of the season according to the League Hockey Players Union (NHLPA).
Matthews was the top scorer in the regular season with 60 goals. He is the first hockey player in ten years who managed to achieve this indicator.
Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid and Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Yosi also claimed the prize.
