Mbappe reveals which world leaders he consulted about his future at PSG

Mbappe: Macron wanted me to stay at PSG

MOSCOW, May 23 – Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe told reporters that he had consulted with President Emmanuel Macron about the extension of the contract with the reigning French champion.
In April, during a personal meeting, Macron advised Mbappe to stay in France. Previously, the Spanish media reported on the proximity of the Frenchman to move to Real Madrid.

“We exchanged views many times. I will say that it was good advice. He (Macron) wanted me to stay, this also influenced the negotiations. He was one of those with whom I spoke about football. At such moments you see better, how much football has changed and what an important place it occupies in society,” Agence France Presse quoted Mbappe as saying.

On Saturday, PSG announced the extension of the deal with the 23-year-old striker, the 2018 world champion with France, until the summer of 2025.
