MOSCOW, 20 Jul – Feyenoord, the Dutch football club, has reached an agreement with Dynamo Moscow on the loan of midfielder Sebastian Szymanski, according to the portal 1908.nl.
According to the source, this week the 23-year-old Pole will fly to Rotterdam. The parties have already agreed to lease the player with an option to buy.
Spartak Moscow midfielders Guus Thiel and Jorrit Hendrix played for Feyenoord on loan last season. Thiel moved from Spartak to Dutch PSV in the off-season. “Feyenoord” in the past season reached the finals of the debut draw of the third most powerful European Cup – the Conference League, where he lost to the Italian “Roma” (0:1).
Shimansky has been playing for Dynamo since 2019, his contract with the White-Blues runs until 2026. In the 2021/22 season of the Russian Premier League, the midfielder played 27 matches, scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists.
Earlier, the International Football Federation extended the permission to suspend contracts with Russian clubs for foreign players until June 2023.
