Fotomac: “Galatasaray” agreed with “Dynamo” the transfer of Zakharyan for 15 million euros
MOSCOW, 21 Feb – Turkish football club “Galatasaray” has agreed with “Dynamo” Moscow on the transfer of midfielder “blue and white” Arsen Zakharyan for 15 million euros, according to Fotomac.
Now Galatasaray is waiting for a response from the 19-year-old Russian himself, who was offered a salary of 1.5 million euros per year. The football player would like to receive 2-2.5 million euros, but the negotiations are going in a positive way.
Earlier, Zakharyan’s agent Pavel Andreev stated that neither he nor the player knew anything about Galatasaray’s interest.
In September 2022, Dynamo announced that the club had received an offer from London’s Chelsea to buy Zakharyan, however, due to a number of technical reasons beyond the control of the Moscow club, it was not possible to transfer the player to the summer transfer window. In November, a member of the board of directors of Dynamo, Dmitry Gafin, said that there was a pause in negotiations with Chelsea on Zakharyan. In January, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the Chelsea management was still interested in Zakharyan’s transfer.
This season, Zakharyan has 22 matches, three goals and six assists for Dynamo in all competitions. Last season, the midfielder played 34 matches for the White-and-Blues and scored nine goals and nine assists. He was recognized as the best young player of the 2021/22 season by the Russian Football Union.
