MOSCOW, May 7 – Manchester City are considering signing Manchester United star Paul Pogba on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, according to The Guardian.
According to the source, the reigning champion of England is ready to offer the midfielder a four-year contract with the possibility of extending for another season. The Frenchman himself is interested in working with Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola, who believes Pogba can play a deeper role in midfield.
Pogba has been with Manchester United since 2016. As part of the team, he became the owner of the English League Cup and the winner of the Europa League. This season, Pogba has played 27 matches in which he scored one goal. The 29-year-old’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of June.
