Michael Jordan’s Iconic 1996-1997 Jersey Set for Sotheby’s Auction, Expected to Fetch Million

Michael Jordan’s legendary items are going up for auction at Sotheby’s, according to Interfax, citing Barron’s.

His iconic red jersey from the 1996-1997 NBA season will be among the highlights. Jordan wore this jersey for five months, and it’s expected to fetch between $4 million and $6 million.

Alongside this, two more jerseys will be auctioned. One was worn during Chicago Bulls home games in 1988-1989, and another from his 1998 playoff run.

This isn’t the first time Jordan’s personal items have been sold. A pair of his Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers were auctioned a few years ago for $560,000.
