AS Monaco announced the departure of Fabregas
MOSCOW, June 18 – Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas has left AS Monaco, according to the club’s website.
The 35-year-old has represented the Monegasques since 2019 and left the club at the end of his contract. During this time, he spent 68 matches for the team, scored four goals and gave nine assists.
Previously, Fabregas played for the English “Arsenal” and “Chelsea”, as well as the Spanish “Barcelona”. During his career he has won the English and Spanish championships, a number of domestic cups, as well as the UEFA Super Cup, the Club World Cup (both with Barcelona) and the Europa League (with Chelsea). As part of the Spanish national team, he became the world champion and two-time European champion.
