Nadal beats Isner to advance to the third round of the Masters tennis tournament in Rome

MOSCOW, May 11 – Spaniard Rafael Nadal reached the third round of the Masters tennis tournament in Rome, the prize fund of which exceeds 5.4 million euros.
Nadal, seeded under the third number, in the second round defeated the American John Isner with a score of 6:3, 6:1. Tennis players spent 1 hour and 16 minutes on the court.
Nadal’s next opponent will be Denis Shapovalov of Canada (13th seed), who defeated Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili in the second round.
