Bayern Munich coach Nagelsmann is shortlisted for Chelsea Football Club
MOSCOW, 27 Mar – Julian Nagelsmann, who previously headed the German Bayern Munich, is on the list of candidates for the post of head coach of the English football club Chelsea, journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on his Twitter.
Nagelsmann will be considered if Chelsea head coach Graham Potter is fired. It is noted that at the same time, the leadership of the London club supports Potter and wants him to continue working with the team.
Nagelsmann took charge of Bayern Munich in August 2021. Under his leadership, the team became the champion of Germany and the two-time winner of the German Super Cup. On Friday, Bayern announced the termination of the contract with 35-year-old Nagelsmann. He previously worked at Hoffenheim and Leipzig.
Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League table with 38 points from 27 matches.
