Nedelin and Dmitrieva won the Moscow Marathon, Nikitin set a Russian record
MOSCOW, September 17 – Dmitry Nedelin and Luiza Dmitrieva became winners of the Moscow Marathon.
Nedelin’s result was 2 hours 14 minutes 1 second. Stepan Kiselev (2:14.34) was second, Alexey Troshkin (2:16.13) was third.
Dmitrieva finished with a result of 2 hours 30 minutes 15 seconds. Dina Alexandrova won silver (2:33.06), bronze was won by Alina Prokopyeva (2:34.01).
In the men’s 10 km distance, Vladimir Nikitin (28.01) showed a result higher than the Russian record, followed by Ivan Panferov (29.48) and Andrey Leiman (29.50), respectively. Among women, Svetlana Aplachkina (32.26) became the best at this distance; Anna Tropina (32.32) and Anna Vikulova (32.32) were also on the podium.
The Moscow Marathon took place for the 10th time. It is considered the most popular race in Russia.
