New Zealand U19 vs Bangladesh U19 World Cup 2020 2nd Semi-final Bangladesh win by 6 wickets

Bangladesh batsman Mahmud Hasan Joy played a great inning, he scored 100 runs for 127 balls. Bangladesh win by 6 wickets and 5.5 overs to spare.

The 2nd semi-final of the ICC Under 19 World Cup is being played today on 6 February 2020 between Bangladesh and New Zealand. New Zealand defeats at the hands of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh won the toss and decide bowling first. New Zealand scored 211 for 8 wickets in 50 overs. Beckham Wheeler-Greenell was his top scorer. He scored an unbeaten 75 off 83 balls (5 fours and 2 sixes). Fergus Lellman scored 24, Nicholas Lidstone 44, Jessie Tuskoff 10, Ollie White 18 and Joe Field 12.

Bangladeshi bowler: Shorfir Islam was the most successful bowler from Bangladesh. He took 3 wickets for 45 runs, Shamim Hussain took 2 wickets for 31 runs and Hassan Murad took 2 wickets for 34 runs. Rakibul Hasan also took one wicket.

Bangladeshi batman: Mahmud Hasan Joy scored the most runs for Bangladesh. He scored 100 runs in 127 balls, Tauheed Hridoy scored 40 runs in 47 balls, Shahadat Hussain scored 40 runs in 51 balls. Shahadat Hussain remained unbeaten on 40 and Akbar Ali scored 5 runs.

Bangladesh team performed brilliantly, beating the New Zealand team by 6 wickets and made it to the final of the under-19 World Cup for the first time.

Bangladesh will enter the final against India on Sunday, 9 February 2020.
