NFL player arrested for weapons and drug possession

MOSCOW, 17 Oct – National Football League (NFL, American football) Los Angeles Rams player Derion Kendrick was arrested in Los Angeles for weapons and drug possession.
According to TMZ, the police stopped the athlete’s car for a traffic violation and, when searching the vehicle, found a gun and marijuana in it. Hours before his arrest, Kendrick played a full NFL game for the Rams in their 26-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
According to the New York Post, the player is still in custody. The athlete’s arrest was also confirmed by team coach Sean McVey.
Kendrick is 23 years old. He was cut from the Clemson University team in 2021 amid disciplinary issues. He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 212th overall.
