Hockey “Detroit” Zyder named the best rookie of the season-2021/22 in the NHL

MOSCOW, June 22 – Detroit Red Wings defender Moritz Seider of the National Hockey League (NHL) won the Calder Trophy.
The prize is given to the best rookie of the NHL regular season.
In the regular season of the 2021/22 season, Zayder played 82 games and scored 50 points (7 goals + 43 assists).
The award has been awarded since the 1936/37 season. The winner of the Calder Trophy is determined by a secret ballot of members of the NHL Sports Writers Association.
Last season, the winner of the award was the Russian Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild. He became the seventh Russian to receive this prize, having previously been awarded to Pavel Bure, Sergei Samsonov, Evgeny Nabokov, Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeny Malkin and Artemy Panarin.
