Skier Yakimushkin won the 20 km freestyle race at the Russian Championships
MOSCOW, September 15 – Skier Ivan Yakimushkin won the 20 km freestyle time trial race on roller skis at the Russian Championship, which takes place at the Malinovka sports center in the Arkhangelsk region.
The athlete covered the distance in 46 minutes 14.5 seconds. Savely Korostelev took second place (23.7 seconds back). Evgeniy Belov (+30.1) took third place.
Earlier it became known that Olympic champions Alexander Bolshunov and Sergei Ustyugov would not compete.
The Russian summer cross-country skiing championship will end on September 18.
