Captain “Washington” Ovechkin: I do not feel the accumulated fatigue

MOSCOW, 15 Jan – The captain of the club of the National Hockey League (NHL) “Washington Capitals” Alexander Ovechkin admitted that he does not feel tired, which could accumulate during the current season.
Ovechkin had a full training session with the team on Friday despite discomfort from an unnamed injury. Earlier, “Washington” reported that the Russian is experiencing problems with the upper body, but the forward himself, who missed the training session of the “Capitals” on Thursday, did not confirm this information.
“What makes you think that this is the upper body? Well, I don’t know. Maybe it’s the upper body, or maybe the lower one. Today I tried to ride. Let’s see what happens tomorrow,” the NHL website quotes Ovechkin.
“It doesn’t really matter how the season goes. I don’t want to get injured. I don’t want to feel any pain in my body. I like it. Obviously I’m comfortable. I don’t feel (accumulated) fatigue. Although, of course, immediately after the matches, there is a slight fatigue,” the athlete added.
Previously, Ovechkin was appointed captain of the Capital Division team for the NHL All-Star Game, which will be held in early February in Las Vegas (USA).
