Pavlyuchenkova lost in the first round of the tournament in Rome
MOSCOW, May 9 – Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova failed to qualify for the second round of the WTA 1000 tennis tournament in Rome, the prize fund of which exceeds $2.8 million.
Pavlyuchenkova, seeded 14th, lost in the first round to Canada’s Leila Fernandez with a score of 6:1, 2:6, 2:6. Tennis players spent 1 hour 51 minutes on the court.
The next rival of Fernandez will be another Russian Daria Kasatkina.
