Shesterkin’s pass helped the Rangers beat Pittsburgh and even the score in the NHL playoff series

MOSCOW, May 14 – The New York Rangers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in the sixth game of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff series.
The meeting, which took place in Pittsburgh, ended with a score of 5:3 (0:2, 3:1, 2:0) in favor of the guests. Mika Zibanejad (26th and 27th minutes) and Chris Kreider (34, 59) scored twice as the winners, Andrew Kopp (60) scored another goal. Pittsburgh scored goals from Jeff Carter (15), Brian Rust (16) and Russian forward Evgeni Malkin (37).
Russian Rangers goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 31 shots out of 34 and chalked up an assist. Blueshirt forward Artemy Panarin made three shots on target and held one power reception.
The score in the series up to four victories became equal – 3-3. The last, seventh match will take place in New York on May 16.
