The promoter of the British Dubois will appeal the result of the fight with the Ukrainian Usyk
MOSCOW, 27 Aug – Frank Warren, Daniel Dubois’ promoter, said after the Briton’s defeat in a fight with the World Boxing Association (WBA Super), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk that the result of the heavyweight title bout will be appealed, according to talkSPORT.
The confrontation took place in Wroclaw (Poland) and ended with Usyk’s victory by technical knockout in the ninth round. In the fifth round, the Ukrainian fell after hitting the Briton below the belt and took a five-minute break.
