Paralympic athletes Pronkov and Mikheeva won the biathlon sprint race in Khanty-Mansiysk

KHANTY-MANSIYSK, March 18 – Russian biathlete Alexander Pronkov won the sprint race at the Games “We are together. Sport” in Khanty-Mansiysk in the category LW2-9 (standing).
The athlete covered the distance of 6 km in 16 minutes 28.7 seconds without a single miss. Second place with two penalties went to Vladislav Lekomtsev (+8.8 seconds), Vitaly Malyshev (+19.9) rounded out the top three. All three winners represent Russia.
In women in the same category, the Russian woman Yulia Mikheeva excelled. She showed the result of 19 minutes 24.9 seconds, not allowing misses on the shooting range. The second was Russian Ekaterina Rumyantseva (+13.4; 2 misses), the third was Daria Fedkovich from Belarus (+3.35.7; 3).
Games “We are together. Sport” will end on March 20. Competitions are held in six sports – cross-country skiing, biathlon, curling, snowboarding, alpine skiing, sledge hockey. In addition to Russian athletes, Paralympic athletes from Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia and Kazakhstan perform at the Games.
