Paris Saint-Germain reach deal for Verratti to join Qatari side Al Arabi
MOSCOW, 27 Aug – French football club Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement on the transfer of midfielder Marco Verratti to Qatari side Al Arabi, according to Foot Mercato.
Earlier, the media reported that Saudi Al-Hilal was close to acquiring Verratti for 30 million euros, offering the player a three-year contract.
The Qatari club is currently trying to convince the player to move from Europe to Qatar and hopes to finalize the deal in the coming days, the source said.
Verratti is 30 years old. He moved to PSG in 2012. Last season, he took part in 38 matches, in which he scored one assist. The player’s contract with the Parisian club is valid until the summer of 2026.
