Paris Saint-Germain beat Lens in the third round to secure their first win of the new Ligue 1 season
MOSCOW, 27 Aug – “Paris Saint-Germain” beat “Lens” in the match of the third round of the championship of France on football.
The meeting in Paris ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the reigning champions. As part of the hosts, goals were scored by Marco Asensio (45th minute) and Kylian Mbappe (52, 90+1). The losers scored Morgan Gilavogi (90+5).
For Asensio, this goal was the first in official matches for the capital club. The three-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid joined the Parisians in July on a free transfer.
PSG have won their first league title and Luis Enrique’s team is fourth in the league table with 5 points from three matches. Last season’s vice-champion “Lance” with 1 point is 15th.
