Quetta Gladiators won the first match of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) in the domestic T20 tournament.
In the first match of PSL 2020, Quetta Gladiators beat Islamabad United by 3 wickets with 9 balls to spare.
Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and decide the bowling. Islamabad United batted first and scored 168 runs in 19.1 overs.
David Malan was the highest scorer 64 runs. Luke Ronchi contributed 23, Hassan Talat 19 tuns and Asif Ali 19 tuns, and Faheem Ashraf 20 runs. No other batsman has scored so well.

Azam Khan was the highest scorer from Quetta Gladiators. He scored 59 runs off 33 balls. Shane Watson scored 15, Sarfaraz Ahmed 21, Mohammad Nawaz 23, Sohail Khan 14 and Ben Cutting scored 22 not out.
Mohammad Musa took 3 wickets for 30 runs from Islamabad United. Akif Javed took 1 wicket and Faheem Ashraf 1 wicket. Amad Butt sent one batsman each to the pavilion. Mohammad Hasnain was the man of the match. Quetta Gladiators beat Islamabad United by 3 wickets.
