MOSCOW, September 14 – Real Madrid will help a Moroccan teenager who lost his entire family in an earthquake, El Espanol reports.
An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 occurred in Morocco on the night of September 9. The outbreak lay at a depth of ten kilometers, 80 kilometers from Marrakech. This was followed by at least four aftershocks with magnitudes 4.8, 3.4, 3.2 and 3.3. The death toll exceeded 2.9 thousand people.
The teenager gave an interview to Moroccan television in which he said that he lost his mother, father, grandfather and brothers in this earthquake. During the interview he was wearing a Real Madrid jersey.
The young man’s story spread across social networks and many Internet users tried to convey information to the Madrid club to help the teenager. According to the publication, a person associated with Real Madrid was found in Morocco, who informed the club about the situation with the teenager.
At the moment, Real are planning to transport the young man to Spain and give him all the conditions so that he can start studying and find a job.
