Real Sociedad lost to Real Madrid, Zakharyan came on as a substitute
MOSCOW, September 18 – Real Sociedad lost to Real Madrid in the match of the fifth round of the Spanish Football Championship.
The meeting, held in Madrid, ended with a score of 2:1. Federico Valverde (46th minute) and Joselu (60th minute) scored for the winners. Ander Barrenechea (5) scored the goal for the visitors.
Russian midfielder of Real Sociedad Arsen Zakharyan entered the field in the 81st minute and did not score any effective actions.
Real Madrid, with 15 points, is in first place in the La Liga standings. Real Sociedad is in 11th place with 6 points.
In the next round, Real will play away against Atletico Madrid on September 24, and Real Sociedad will host Getafe on the same day.
