MOSCOW, September 14 – A team of referees led by Artem Chistyakov has been appointed for the match of the eighth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) between Spartak Moscow and Sochi, according to the official website of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

The meeting will take place on Saturday, September 16, in Moscow and will begin at 19:00. Initially, the match was supposed to take place in Sochi, but the teams swapped laps due to the unsatisfactory quality of the turf at the Fisht stadium. Chistyakov will be assisted by linesmen Andrey Obrazko and Alexey Shiryaev, as well as reserve referee Anton Frolov. Vitaly Meshkov was appointed responsible for the operation of the video assistant referee (VAR) system, his assistant was Nikolay Eremin.

Another match of the tour between the capital CSKA and Samara “Wings of the Soviets” will be officiated by a team of referees led by Artem Lyubimov. The match will take place in Moscow on September 16 and will start at 14:00. Linesmen Dmitry Ermakov and Andrey Vereteshkin, as well as reserve referee Evgeny Bulanov, will work together with Lyubimov at the match. Vasily Kazartsev and Vera Opeykina, appointed as his assistant, will be responsible for the work of VAR.
