Agalarov, Zakharyan and Akinfeev entered the list of 33 best players of the season according to the RFU

MOSCOW, June 23 – The Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union approved the list of “33 best football players” following the results of the 2021/22 season, according to the RFU website.
The best goalkeepers included Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar), Igor Akinfeev (CSKA), Ilya Lantratov (Khimki).
The best in their positions were also:
  • right back – Mario Fernandez (CSKA Moscow), Alexei Sutormin (“Zenith”), Guillermo Varela (“Dynamo”);

  • right central defender – Fabian Balbuena (“Dynamo”), Igor Diveev (CSKA Moscow), Maxim Osipenko (“Rostov”).

  • left central defender – Rodrigao (“Sochi”), Georgiy Jikia (“Spartak”), Dmitry Chistyakov (“Zenith”);

  • left back – Douglas Santos (“Zenith”), Sergey Terekhov (“Sochi”), Danil Krugovoi (“Zenith”);

  • right midfielder – Malcolm (“Zenith”), Zelimkhan Bakaev (“Spartak”), Daler Kuzyaev (“Zenith”);

  • right central midfielder – Christian Noboa (“Sochi”), Sebastian Shimansky (“Dynamo”), Daniil Fomin (“Dynamo”);

  • left central midfielder – Claudinho (“Zenith”), Vilmar Barrios (“Zenith”), Danil Glebov (“Rostov”);

  • left midfielder – Arsen Zakharyan (“Dynamo”), Anton Zinkovsky (“Wings of the Soviets”), Dmitry Poloz (“Rostov”);

  • right forward – Hamid Agalarov (“Ufa”), Rifat Zhemaletdinov (“Lokomotiv”), Artyom Dzyuba (“Zenith”);

  • left forward – Mateo Cassierra (“Sochi”), Ivan Sergeev (“Zenith”), Eric Bikfalvi (“Ural”).

The list of “33 best football players” is annually compiled and approved by the executive committee of the RFU following the results of the Russian championship. It represents three symbolic compositions of football players, distributed according to their roles.
