RR vs MI: Jofra Archer took the ‘best catch’ of this IPL, Mumbai and Rajasthan players were surprised

Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Jofra Archer is bowling brilliantly in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The dangerous England bowler has impressed everyone with his bowling. Archer took a great catch against the 45th Mumbai Indians of the season. On seeing this, the players of Rajasthan as well as Mumbai were surprised. Archer took Ishaan Kishan’s catch as ‘Superman’ off Karthik Tyagi.

Actually, the 11th over of Mumbai’s innings was going on. Karthik Tyagi of Rajasthan was bowling. Ishaan Kishan was batting solidly. He scored 37 runs off 35 balls. Kishan hit Tyagi to third man. It was felt that the ball would fall outside the boundary, but Archer did not let it happen. He leaped into the air and took a brilliant catch with his hand on the back. Tyagi himself was surprised to see this. Apart from them Ben Stokes and Ryan Pollen were also surprised.

It was Archer who took Mumbai’s first wicket. He bowled Quinton de Kock on a personal score of 6 runs. Then Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav handled Mumbai’s innings. Both batted fast and in the powerplay, Mumbai’s score had reached 59 runs. Tyagi broke this partnership. Archer also contributed to breaking this partnership by taking excellent catches.

Mumbai scored 195 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya scored the most runs for the team. He scored 60 runs off 21 balls. Hardik completed his half-century off 20 balls. He hit 2 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. Hardik is the fourth batsman to score the fastest half-century this season. This is Hardik’s first half-century in this season.
