Rublev won the second stage of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown exhibition tournament
MOSCOW, September 17 – Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev won the second stage of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown exhibition tournament, which took place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
In the final of the tournament, Rublev beat the representative of Bulgaria, Grigor Dimitrov, with a score of 14:13, 12:17, 11:10, 17:16. The Bulgarian replaced Russian Daniil Medvedev at the tournament, who decided to refuse to participate in the second stage of the series.
The tournament matches were held on September 15 and 17 according to rules similar to basketball – tennis players played four quarters of eight minutes each. The third stage will take place on December 1-3 in Seoul (South Korea).
