Romanov assist helps Islanders beat San Jose in NHL game
MOSCOW, 19 Mar – The New York Islanders beat the San Jose Sharks in a regular season game in the National Hockey League (NHL).
The meeting ended with a score of 4:1 (1:1, 2:0, 1:0) in favor of the Islanders. Jean-Gabriel Pajot (17th minute), Kyle Palmieri (23), Ryan Pulok (26) and Zach Parise (46) scored among the winners. The Sharks scored Kevin Labank (8).
Alexander Romanov gave an assist at Paris. For the Russian defender, this effective action was the 21st (2 goals, 19 assists) in 70 games of the season. Team goalkeeper Ilya Sorokin saved 29 out of 30 shots on goal.
