Andriy Yagodka, Yuriy Tsap and Vasily Humen, who won silver medals among saber fencers, brought the second award of the continental championship of the Ukrainian national team, Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian team after victories over the Spaniards (45:33), Germany (45:44) and Turkey (45:43) in the final was minimally inferior to the leader of the European ranking of the Hungarian team – 39:40.

“Bronze” went to the representatives of Turkey, who in the match for 3rd place beat the saber fencers of France.

As Ukrinform reported, the “gold” of the European Championship 2022 in the individual epee tournament was won by Vlada Kharkova from Kiev.

The European Fencing Championship will last until June 22.
