Ferrari driver Sainz crashes in second practice at Miami Grand Prix
MOSCOW, May 7 – Spanish Ferrari pilot Carlos Sainz had an accident during the second practice of the fifth round of the Formula 1 World Championship – the Miami Grand Prix, which takes place in the United States.
The Spaniard lost control in the 14th turn, his car was carried off the track and hit the bumpers. The session was stopped by red flags, the rider left the wrecked car on his own.
Sainz seriously damages his car in the third consecutive Formula 1 World Championship. In Italy, at the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, the Spaniard crashed the car during qualifying, and in the race in Melbourne, Australia, he had an accident on the first lap.
The first free practice session of the Miami Grand Prix was also interrupted by red flags due to the accident of Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas. Finn does not take part in the second session.
