Ferrari driver Sainz became the best in the third practice at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix
MOSCOW, September 16 – Spanish Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz showed the best time in the third free practice at the 16th stage of the Formula 1 championship – the Singapore Grand Prix.
Sainz’s time is 1 minute 32.065 seconds. The second place was taken by the British Mercedes driver George Russell (a gap of 0.069), and the third was another representative of Great Britain Lando Norris from McLaren (+0.238).
The current world champion and season leader, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), showed the fourth result (+0.313). Seven-time Formula 1 champion Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) was sixth (+0.470).
Qualifying will also take place on Saturday, and the race itself will take place on Sunday.
