Ex-forward of “St. Louis” and “Toronto” Livo became a hockey player for “Salavat Yulaev”
MOSCOW, September 15 – “Salavat Yulaev” signed a contract with Canadian forward Joshua Livo, who has more than 250 matches in the National Hockey League (NHL), according to the official website of the Ufa KHL club.
The agreement with the 30-year-old hockey player runs until the end of this season.
The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Livo 86th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, but made his league debut in the 2013-14 season. He also played for the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes and the St. Louis Blues, for whom he played last season.
As part of the Bluesmen, Livo played 51 matches and scored 16 points (4 goals + 12 assists). In total, he has 265 matches and 93 (42+51) points in the NHL.
