Sanjay Manjrekar said a big thing on the growing age of MS Dhoni

Former Indian cricket team batsman and current commentator Sanjay Manjrekar has given a big reaction to Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni. Sanjay Manjrekar believes that MS Dhoni has finally agreed to play a new role for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL (IPL 2021). Chennai captain MS Dhoni has accepted the “facts of life”, according to Sanjay Manjrekar. MS Dhoni will now be seen more as a captain in the upcoming IPL than as a batsman. Because in the first half of the IPL, he gave Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja a chance to bat before him.

Sanjay Manjrekar took to Instagram to summarize MS Dhoni’s growing age and experience, saying that it was worth noting that in the last phase, Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself was realizing his limits as an influential player. He was playing the role of a captain more than a batsman. This proves that a great man or sportsman has become familiar with the facts of life and also with ageing.

Sanjay Manjrekar talks about some of the decisions taken by skipper MS Dhoni and said that Moeen Ali gave a new hope with his batting at the top of the order in the last IPL half. “That’s what Dhoni does, he gets people to bring out their best performances.” Moeen Ali is a talented player. He has the ability to hit good balls for fours and sixes. That’s why MS Dhoni sent him to bat at number 3 before Suresh Raina. However, MS Dhoni also came to bat in the lower order on several occasions. Because he took these decisions considering the role of captain and not as a batsman.

MS Dhoni has recently been selected as the mentor of Team India for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. After IPL, he will be directly associated with the Indian team.
