Tennis players of the Serbian national team will meet with the British in the 1/4 finals of the Davis Cup
MOSCOW, September 19 – The Serbian national team will meet in the 1/4 finals of the Davis Cup with the British team, according to the official account of the tournament on the social network X (formerly the social network Twitter).
The draw for the Davis Cup Final Eight took place on Tuesday. The matches will take place from November 21 to 26 in Malaga, Spain.
The winner of the match between Serbia and Great Britain will play in the semi-finals with the best in the Italy-Netherlands pair. In other matches of the 1/4 finals, the Canadian team will meet with the Finnish team, and the Czech team will face off against the Australian team.
The national teams of Russia and Belarus were suspended from participation in the competition due to the situation in Ukraine. Russian and Belarusian players can only compete in tournaments under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) as neutral athletes.
