“Severstal” without a head coach beat “Barys” in the KHL match

MOSCOW, 24 Sep – Cherepovets “Severstal” beat the Astana “Barys” in the match of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting, held in Cherepovets, ended with the score 5:2 in favor of the hosts. Dmitry Moiseev (3rd and 49th minutes) scored twice among the winners, Kirill Pilipenko (22), Ruslan Abrosimov (25) and Alexander Petunin (29) also scored goals. The guests scored Anton Sagadeev (20) and Jeremy Bracco (39). At the 29th minute, the Barys coaching staff replaced goalkeeper Julius Gudachek with Nikita Boyarkin.

The meeting due to illness missed the head coach of “Severstal” Andrey Razin. His duties on the bench were performed by Yevgeny Mikhalkevich.
“Severstal” interrupted a series of three defeats and with 11 points is in seventh place in the standings of the Western Conference of the KHL. Barys is in sixth place in the East with nine points.
