KAZAN, 18 Sep – Kazan’s Ak Bars beat Moscow’s Vityaz in overtime in a regular season match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting, held in Kazan, ended with a score of 5:4 (2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:0). As part of the winners, Dmitry Yashkin scored a hat-three (7, 22 and 60 minutes), Dmitry Kagarlitsky (20) and Vadim Shipachev (61) also scored. The visitors scored goals from Vitaly Popov (1), Stanislav Yarovoy (30), Ilya Arkalov (51) and Derek Barak (57).
For the Moscow region team, this defeat was the seventh in eight matches of the new season.
