Finnish skier Kerttu Niskanen wins the 10 km race at the World Cup in Falun
MOSCOW, 17 Mar – Finnish skier Kerttu Niskanen won the 10K individual classic at the World Cup in Falun, Sweden.
Niskanen ran the distance in 27 minutes 8.5 seconds. Second place was taken by Germany’s Katarina Henning (+15.9 seconds), while Norway’s Anne Kjersti Kalvo was third (+22.3).
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) due to the situation in Ukraine suspended the Russians and Belarusians from the final starts of last season. In October, the FIS Council extended the suspension for the 2022/23 season.
