Sky Sport: former Norwich head coach Daniel Farke to sign Krasnodar
MOSCOW, 11 Jan – German Daniel Farke will be appointed head coach of FC Krasnodar, according to Sky Sport Germany.
According to the source, Farke will come to Russia with his coaching staff. Belarusian coach Viktor Gancharenko was fired from Krasnodar on 5 January.
Farke left the post of head coach of the English “Norwich” in November 2021. Under his leadership, the team moved up to the English Premier League twice in four years. Previously, he also worked in the second team of Borussia Dortmund and Lippstadt.
Krasnodar, with 29 points, ranks fifth in the Russian Premier League (RPL) standings.
