CHEBOKSARY, 5 Aug – Snezhana Trofimets became the winner of the shot put competition at the Russian Athletics Championships, which takes place in Cheboksary.
In her best attempt, Trofimets, representing Moscow, put the shot to 17.95 meters. Natalya Troneva (17.22 m; Krasnodar Territory) won the silver of the Russian championship, Anna Avdeeva (16.60 m; Samara region) won bronze.
The Russian Athletics Championship will end on August 5.
