MOSCOW, 1 April – Sochi players beat Dynamo Moscow in the match of the 21st round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

The meeting in Moscow ended with the score 2:0. Vanya Drkushich (67th minute) and Artem Makarchuk (74th) scored for Sochi. From the 25th minute, the guests played in the minority, the goalkeeper Soslan Dzhanaev received a red card.

In the 29th minute, Dynamo midfielder Daniil Fomin failed to convert a penalty against Sochi. This unsuccessful attempt to execute the 11-meter was Fomin’s second in a row in the Russian championship. In November last year, the midfielder failed to score against CSKA Moscow. Before the 11-meter kick in the game with the army team, Fomin converted 17 penalties in a row.

Before the start of the meeting, musicians Yuri Malikov and his son Dmitry Malikov delivered a symbolic blow to the ball.

“Dynamo” (35 points) takes fourth place in the standings of the championship of Russia. Sochi (31 points) is in eighth position in the table.
